Committed to the fight against discrimination and convinced that art and culture can bring a better knowledge of oneself and others for the fulfilment of each person, Margalit Berriet, after a period of research and experimentation, founded the association Mémoire de l'Avenir in 2003.
 
Mémoire de l'Avenir today brings together many artists using art as a means of expression to address themes related to identity, memory and origins. Its aim is to facilitate self-knowledge, the expression of imagination, to transmit a message of openness and acceptance of differences in order to be enriched by the diversity of cultures.
